Documentation feedback

Report a missing, unclear, or outdated documentation page through Redgold's first-party support channel.

The documentation search runs in your browser. Redgold does not automatically collect the text you search for or record a failed search query.

Public documentation pages count anonymous page views and offer Was this page helpful? at the bottom. You can send a yes/no rating and an optional comment (up to 1 KB). Please leave out personal information and secrets.

These events go to Redgold's own data engine. They contain only a public page path, view or feedback kind, coarse referrer/browser classes, server time, and any rating or comment you choose to submit. There are no visitor identifiers, cookies, full URLs, IP addresses, or session linking in these events. Do Not Track and the existing analytics opt-out are respected. Documentation remains usable if this endpoint is blocked or unavailable.

To report a gap, sign in at redgold.ai, open Support / Feedback, choose the documentation category, and describe the outcome you could not find. Include the page URL when a page is incorrect or unclear.

Useful reports answer three questions:

  1. What were you trying to accomplish?
  2. Which page or search result did you try?
  3. What result, example, or explanation was missing?

The report is stored with your account as a support ticket so you can see its status. Avoid including API keys, repository credentials, private source code, or personal data in the report.

How reports improve the site

Maintainers review documentation tickets by requested outcome and affected page. Repeated gaps become cookbook recipes, reference additions, or corrections. Anonymous page feedback and deliberately submitted support reports help identify gaps; browser search terms are excluded.
