Acceptable Use Policy
A short summary of the legal obligations and service-protection rules that apply on Redgold, with a link to the canonical policy.
The canonical Acceptable Use Policy is published at redgold.ai/acceptable-use. It supplements the Terms of Service. This page summarizes it; if this summary and the policy differ, the policy applies.
Legal obligations
Redgold does not monitor your work or moderate content beyond what the law requires. The infrastructure runs in the European Union, and the policy lists the laws that can require action:
- the General Data Protection Regulation, for personal data;
- the Digital Services Act, which requires action on valid, specific notices of illegal content;
- the removal and mandatory reporting of child sexual abuse material;
- copyright takedown notices, through the Digital Services Act notice process and, for US claims, the DMCA;
- laws against attacks on computer systems, when the infrastructure is used to attack third parties.
Keep the shared service running
Do not attack the platform, defeat tenant isolation or exhaust resources beyond your plan. Good-faith security research against your own accounts and workspaces is welcome; report findings through the security disclosure policy.
